What architects ask us first.
Do I need an IFC model?
No. TECTIC takes the quantities from a 3D model (IFC) or from 2D plans. It reads the building specification as a PDF, and contractors submit offers by link, as Excel or as PDF.
Who decides?
You do. The agents propose and explain. Approval, award and every change to the baseline take a click by a person, whose name goes in the log.
Who is responsible for the estimate?
You are, just as today. TECTIC prepares every item with its source and confidence and logs every change. Approval, baseline and award stay with you. TECTIC gives no legal advice.
Where is my project data stored?
Exclusively in Switzerland. To improve our models, we use data from offices only with a signed data agreement and only in aggregated form.
What does beta mean?
The core functions work. You use them with our team on your own project. Anything not live yet is marked as such on this page.
What happens after I request access?
We get in touch personally, talk briefly about your project and then set up your access. To start, one project with its 3D model or 2D plans and building specification is enough.
